Tzippori Fine Art was born from a lifelong commitment to two passions: creating meaningful Jewish art and making exceptional artwork accessible to every Jewish home.
Every piece we create is a real oil painting on premium artist-grade canvas, combining classical artistry with groundbreaking Israeli technology. The result is authentic texture, visible brushstrokes, and the richness and presence of a true oil painting.
Our founder, Ben Bialer, has spent more than three decades pursuing the highest levels of classical painting. After studying in New York at the School of Visual Arts, he moved to Jerusalem, where he co-founded the Jerusalem Studio School, helping build what would become one of the world’s leading academies for classical painting. Over the years, he has taught artists at institutions including the National Gallery of Art (Washington), The National Gallery (London), The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Slade School of Fine Art, while continuing to exhibit his own work internationally.
Living and working in Jerusalem profoundly shaped both his artistic vision and his connection to Jewish history. The landscapes of Israel, the streets of Jerusalem, and the enduring spirit of the Jewish people became central inspirations—an influence that continues to guide every collection we create.
Yet one question remained:
Why should museum-quality Jewish art be available only to a privileged few?
That question led to an entirely new journey.
Where Art Meets Israeli Innovation
More than fifteen years ago, Ben founded Artmatr, the company that would eventually become MATR Labs, with a singular mission: To develop technology capable of preserving everything that makes an original painting feel alive.
Rather than simply reproducing images like a traditional printer, our engineers, artists, and software developers spent years building entirely new systems capable of recreating the texture, depth, brushwork, color, and physical presence of fine oil paintings.
Much of this research and development has taken place in Israel, where our primary engineering laboratory remains today in Rehovot. Working alongside Israeli engineers, programmers, and artists, we continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in fine art creation.
The result is a technology unlike anything else in the world.
Unlike traditional prints or giclées, every Tzippori painting is created using real oil paint on premium artist-grade canvas. Each piece is produced through our proprietary hybrid process, combining groundbreaking technology with the finishing touches of skilled artists to create authentic texture, visible brushstrokes, and the look and feel of an original oil painting.

Before launching Tzippori, the technologies developed through Artmatr and MATR Labs were trusted by internationally recognized artists, galleries, museums, and collectors.

Those years of development weren’t originally intended for Judaica.
But today, they allow us to do something we believe is even more meaningful.
